I’m Matija. Staff frontend / web engineer – I build for the open web, and I care more about how something behaves than what it’s built with. In practice that’s a lot of TypeScript, React, build tooling, and the boring-but-correct corners of the web platform. I like things that load fast, age well, and don’t surprise anyone on a Wednesday.

I’ve spent the last decade doing this across agencies, product teams, and the occasional weekend rewrite. The work I’m proudest of is the kind nobody notices because nothing broke.

I check my email before I drink coffee. Most of my non-screen time goes to trail runs, the gym, or a bike.
